The Nebula Awards annually recognize the best works of science fiction or fantasy published in the United States, organized by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association (SFWA) and first presented in 1966. They are awarded in categories for literary works of different lengths, with additional categories for film and television scripts, game writing, and later for comics and poetry. The awards are announced and presented each spring at the SFWA Nebula Conference in the United States.
